The crunch wrap is wrapped in a large soft flour tortilla and then pan-fried to a crispy exterior and a gooey, delicious interior.
Crunchwraps don’t have to be overpowering in terms of flavor. I found the basic taco-sadness of the flavors to be deliciously nostalgic and yummy, and besides, the main event here is the way it’s all structured. Its shape. Its form. Its texture. It’s the one that will make you daydream at 3 p.m. The crunch, the oozy drips, and the juicy drippings. Tastes like pure joy and feels like the height of humanity.

- YOUR HOMEMADE pepper jack queso
- lettuce
- The tomato is a good example of this.

Homemade Crunchwrap Supremes
- In a large skillet, sauté your beef along with the garlic, onions, and seasoning.
- To make homemade queso, whisk together butter, flour, and milk in a small saucepan.
- Layer time! The tortilla can be layered with meat mixture, queso filling, crunchy fillings (such as corn chips), sour cream, hot sauce, and other vegetable fillings. Fold the tortilla’s edges in. After a few minutes, cook the crunch wrap in a hot pan with the seam side down. Flip the crunch wrap and remove it once it is golden brown.
- That’s it! Add a dollop of guacamole on top, and enjoy!
In my life, Crunchwrap is a verb. “Should We Crunchwrap That?” is something I actually say. I’ve Crunchwrapped avocados, tortilla chips, sweet potatoes, black beans, and taco meat. I am becoming a Crunchwrap master.
What would you put in a salad taco? Crunchwrap that to hell.
What This Crunchy Goodness compares to the Taco Bell Crunchwrap supreme
It’s probably time to acknowledge that the Crunchwrap originated at Taco Bell, right?
Since it was after midnight, my memory of the meal was a little fuzzy. But, really, doesn’t everyone have this experience at Taco Bell? In full disclosure, I have never had a Taco Bell Crunchwrap. I know. I’m planning a late-night Bell run.
I am a Taco John girl (Potato Oles ALL THE WAYYYYYY), but we must focus today on what is really important.
