2 Tbsp flour

(1 Tbsp) tomato paste

Dry thyme (1/2 teaspoon)

(1/2 cup) chicken broth

Brown gravy (1 cup)

Heat the pan to high. Add the ground beef and brown it. Drain any excess grease from the pan.

Reduce heat to medium. Mix flour with beef.

Pour in the tomato puree and thyme. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

Pour the chicken broth into the pan to deglaze it. Add flavor by scraping off the brown bits from the pan.
